一直以來都銷聲匿跡的SLG遊戲《海商王》系列》最近終於再度出現在了玩家的面前，而且發
行商KalypsoMedia帶來了好消息是，這個系列的第三部作品將在明年登陸PC、Xbox360和PS3
平台。

在《海商王3》中，玩家將身處17世紀的加勒比海，展開自己的冒險。你可以選擇成為一個正義
的船長，或是邪惡的海盜，又或者唯利是圖的商人。在那個時代，英國、法國、荷蘭以及西班
牙的海軍都希望能夠成為海上的霸主並且不斷的擴張著自己的殖民地。

單人戰役包括兩條不同的路線：冒險和經商。冒險路線中，你將首先從征服海軍開始，此後根
據不同的表現或許會獲得不同的名聲，比如「海盜、賞金獵人、城管」一類的；經商路線中，你
必須通過各種經濟手段來構築自己的商業帝國，為此你需要「設立貿易航路，建造工廠和發展城市」。

自由模式中，玩家可以將上述的兩條路線結合起來，為了追求財富和力量而不斷迎接各種挑戰。
除此之外，遊戲也緊跟潮流的加入了多人模式。在多人模式裡，玩家將可以和其他玩家進行社
交、貿易甚至是戰鬥。
